Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., invites Newark residents to attend the upcoming Public Safety’s Community Workshop. The Workshop will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., beginning Tuesday, September 30, 2025, through November 18th, 2025. The group will also receive training in the areas of crime prevention, gang awareness, and domestic violence. From the Fire Division’s training section, Workshop participants will learn how to devise a fire escape plan, how arson investigations are conducted, and the proper use of a fire extinguisher.
