Join Public Safety Director Miranda’s August 13th Wellness Wednesday Run at Engine 26 at 420 Sanford Avenue

Wellness Wednesdays! Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda invites Police, Firefighters, members of the Office of Emergency Management, and the community to partner for Wellness Wednesdays. Beginning at 8 a.m. each Wednesday before Labor Day, everyone is invited to participate in an activity designed to enhance their physical and mental well-being through a weekly outdoor run. The next Wellness Wednesdays run will be held on August 13th at the Engine 26 Firehouse at 420 Sanford Avenue. Please arrive by 7:45 a.m. for a pre-run stretch. Dress in activewear and sneakers to participate. New run locations will be announced each week. All are welcome. Kindly consult with your doctor if you have any medical concerns before joining the run. The rain date for the August 13th run is Wednesday, August 20th.
