Run with the Director During Wellness Wednesday, July 30th at Engine 29, 1028 Bergen Street

Wellness Wednesdays! Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda invites Police, Firefighters, members of the Office of Emergency Management, and the community to partner for Wellness Wednesdays. Beginning at 8 a.m. each Wednesday before Labor Day, everyone is invited to participate in an activity designed to enhance their physical and mental well-being through a weekly outdoor run. The upcoming Wellness Wednesdays run will take place on July 30th at Engine 29, located at 1028 Bergen Street. Please arrive by 7:45 a.m. for a pre-run stretch. Dress in activewear and sneakers to participate. New run locations will be announced each week. All are welcome. Please consult with your doctor if you have any medical concerns before participating in the run. The rain date for the July 30th run is Wednesday, August 6th.
